Hundreds of individuals gathered in downtown Solvang on Sunday morning to celebrate the Fourth of July with the return of the annual parade sponsored by the Solvang Rotary Club.

“It’s very crucial to the local community of Solvang and the citizens of this state that the Fourth of July is celebrated just like it was two years back,” stated Artwork Kaslow, the club’s president. “Very significant that we never lose any of the traditions or celebrations.”

The Solvang Rotary Club normally puts on the Independence Working day parade every single yr, but last year’s procession was canceled owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Though the Fourth of July parade has taken area on Highway 246 (Mission Travel) in the past, this year’s parade took a various route as a result of the downtown place due to the fact organizers didn’t have time to safe condition permits for the standard route.
